SXSW Homework (is really a lot of sitting around)

Friday night: Amid normal household activity & interruptions, it took 5 hours to listen/watch all the bands starting with the letter J (14 Johns, 5 Jims, and 5 bands starting with just the letter J). Math tells us we'll never get through the entire alphabet by this coming Friday, but we quit listening to Math long ago.

Today we start the letter K, and while we know we need to stop smelling the roses along the way, we're still looking forward to the letters Q and X.

We haven't even looked at the film schedule yet...5 days and ticking.

SXSW Homework

We're in the Gs right now, bands with "Gold" in their name (7 bands). Too many letters to go. Homework sucks. But the payoff is worth it. So we continue to listen. Pop, punk, country, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, and every imaginable combination from every imaginable country.

I'll put a more discerning and attentive ear to Our Final List post-SXSW, unless the hairs are wild during the fest and time permits.
